Mason & Associates was established in the year 2006 by Mr. Neel Mason, with a focus on the practice of Intellectual Property (IP) Law. The firm has since expanded its practice to Internet and Information Technology law. Since its inception, the firm has built a significant reputation amongst both clients and peers and is today rated amongst the leading law firms in the Intellectual Property and Information Technology sphere, in India.

Mason & Associates has been involved in work that has influenced some core issues in Intellectual Property Law in India. Mr. Mason and his team have made representations on behalf of right holders before the various committees examining the amendments to the Copyright Act and Patent Act and providing comments on the provisions of the Privacy and Data Protection Bill.
